Platform scales (with a system of 4 strain gauge sensors) are designed for fast and accurate weighing of heavy loads in industry and wholesale trade. They are distinguished by their heavy-duty construction, which allows loads to be applied mechanically using a forklift truck.

These scales are the most common type of scales in industry. We offer scales of various sizes, made of carbon and stainless steel, as well as steel platforms tailored to our customers’ requirements.

Characteristics and purpose – platform scales

Platform scales – designed for wide use in industry and trade. Their characteristic feature is a solid platform, constructed from steel profiles, covered with a stainless steel overlay (pan). These scales are equipped with a handy set of practical special functions and are adapted to work with devices and IT systems for product and user identification, as well as for printing, labeling, and archiving results.

They can have a meter on the column or on the cable, with brackets for mounting at the workstation. They can be used on countertops or on the floor and serve to weigh standard products. Special designs are available on request to enable convenient weighing of specific products, e.g., barriers for placing and supporting bags, scales with rollers for convenient sliding of products, etc.

Depending on the design, the scales can be used either in dry conditions (powder-coated carbon steel scales) or in humid environments (stainless steel scales). Scales made entirely of stainless steel (scale structure + meter housing) are completely resistant to water, detergents, acid and salt solutions, and are easy to clean.

Scales can be certified or calibrated.

They are designed for use in warehouses, production halls, and scrap yards, but not only. They are also suitable as livestock scales for weighing cattle, finding application in both smaller and larger farms. A carefully selected livestock scale can also be used for veterinary purposes in a clinic.
